Why Is Video So Important?

Our goal is to provide our clients with a marketing tool that can be used to promote their business online, provide a powerful and positive impact to their SEO (search engine optimization) and allow customers to meet the face behind their business. That’s why we are excited to provide our clients with what is quickly becoming the most powerful tool on the internet, a video!

WHO: You, the Local Expert and Small Business Owner

WHAT: As a Guest Expert via Skype Video Interview

WHERE: Online at WorldClassTV

WHEN: At your convenience, from the comfort of your home or office

WHY: Creating videos is great way to increase the potential of being found on searches for your products, company, industry, or services, at least on Google.  Google now incorporates video results into its Web search, specifically those videos hosted on YouTube, which is an affiliate.

Let me ask you the following questions:
  • Did you know that having effective video on your website is the best way to "be real" for prospects?
  • Do you have a YouTube Channel for your business?
  • Do you know how many videos are viewed on YouTube every day?
If you are following any of the major marketing guru's these days, there is a consistent encouragement to return to"being real".  There is no better way to "be real" with your target customers than to share who you are in a video.
A video message is much more appreciated because it feels more personal to your target audience.  Instead of reading words, they can see your facial expressions, smiles and other emotions you wish to convey.  Plus, a video could make them feel as if they’re talking to you.
You can also engage your customers by requesting them to send in their videos, such as a video of themselves talking about your service and the great experience they've had with you.
And lastly, there is a great new way for you to be presented in a "real" format by being interviewed through the WorldClassTV Social Media Internet Show.

Be A Guest Expert on WorldClassTV

WorldClassSocialMediaShowIconIf you have been watching the news recently you've likely seen the increased use of Skype to remotely interview Guest Experts.  If you have a laptop computer with a video camera, we can provide you with a great new Guest Expert Video personalized for your business.  This video is produced at your convenience, no travel involved and done at a time convenient for your schedule.

30 minute to 50 minute "Infomercial" TV Interviewers are charging $12,000 to $15,000 to produce this type of Guest Expert Interview and are then charging you thousands of dollars per month for local cable distribution.  Our production costs are a fraction of this, and we will give you the source video for you to freely distribute through your social network.  We will also host your video on our Internet Channel at no additional cost!

Uncle Sam Wants Your Money - I Want Your Money Documentary

This is so good...sad, but true :(

Set against the backdrop of today's headline - 67% of Americans don't approve of Obama's economic policies, the film takes a provocative look at our deeply depressed economy using the words and actions of Presidents Reagan and Obama and shows the marked contrast between Reaganomics and Obamanomics. The film contrasts two views of the role that the federal government should play in our daily lives using the words and actions of Ronald Reagan and Barack Obama. Two versions of the American dream now stand in sharp contrast. One views the money you earned as yours and best allocated by you; the other believes that the elite in Washington know how to best allocate your wealth. One champions the traditional American dream, which has played out millions of times through generations of Americans, of improving one's lot in life and even daring to dream and build big. The other holds that there is no end to the "good" the government can do by taking and spending other peoples' money in an ever-burgeoning list of programs. The documentary film I Want Your Money exposes the high cost in lost freedom and in lost opportunity to support a Leviathan-like bureaucratic state.Documentary Ray Griggs Want Your Money Entertainment

Top 10 Social Media Marketing Tips

  1. Keyword Selection is Foundational:

Good content requires that you are strategically embedding high-quality
keywords across your content.  What you think your keywords
are is irrelevant.  Focus on what your customer uses to search for your
products or services.  Ask yourself the question, “If I didn’t know my
company or product name, how would my prospective clients describe my
    business/service/product in a Google search?”

    1. GOAL:  Identify the top five
      (5) keywords which reflect how prospective clients describe your
      business.

    2. RESOURCES:

      http://www.goodkeywords.com
can help you refine your keyword list.

      http://kendelllang.blogspot.com/search?q=keyword+selection
      gives
more detail around developing your keyword list.

  2. Social Media Marketing CONTENT:

Content has been, currently is…and always will be KING!

If you don’t like writing or don’t believe you have time to invest, get over
it and realize that this is the single most important investment you’ll make
towards achieving your marketing goals.  This is worth repeating…CONTENT is
the single most important component to your base website, your SEO strategy
and now your Social Media Optimization Strategy (SMO).  Focus on producing
content which is fresh and unique every week.  If you can’t commit to
producing new and updated content at least once a week, find someone who can
    do that for you.

    1. GOAL:  Write a Press Release
about an event or newsworthy story, incorporating your keywords above
into the Title, the Summary Description, the Body and the About Us
      section.

    2. TIP:  Make sure your “About
Us” section includes a link to your website.

  3. Social Media Marketing Accounts:

Once you’ve identified your keywords and have written your killer CONTENT,
now you’re ready to post that content out on social networking websites.
Since there are over 500 social networking websites, you’re going to have to
decide where to invest your time and where you are going to want to post
your content.  For immediate impact, we are providing two suggested social
networking websites per major category, so pick three (3) sites and go
create an account at each website:

    1. Social Networking Category:

  1. Post Your Content:
      Now that you’ve
selected your keywords, written your content and created your selected
Social Network accounts, now you are ready to post your content.  Log in to
each of the accounts you just created and follow the instructions for
posting that content into each account.  Since you’ve written a Press
Release, start by posting your press release to one of the Press Release
sites.  After that, you can modify that content slightly and post it at one
of the Blogging sites, and finally at your last account.

    1. GOAL:
You want to be able to
quickly and efficiently post your content to three (3) social network
accounts you created in #3 above.

  2. Commit to Outbound Marketing:
      As a
business owner promoting your products or service, you should focus on
pushing Content TO your social network accounts and writing content with a
goal of pulling traffic FROM your social networks TO your base website.
You want to EDUCATE…INSPIRE…ENGAGE with whatever content you are posting.
Always remember to include a compelling “call to action.”  The goal is not
to build traffic for social networks, but to benefit from their traffic and
attract prospective clients to your website with compelling “calls to
    action.”

    1. GOAL:  You want to publish
relevant and interesting content that attracts potential clients to
      “click thru”

    2. NOTE:   It is going to feel
counter-intuitive, but you want to PUSH your content to social network
websites with the goal of PULLING viewers to your website.

  3. Get Your Google Places:
      You need to
stake your claim to your physical address.  Search engines are heavily
focusing on “Localized” search, so the more robust you make your Local
profile, the better you will rank.  Enhance your listing
with keyword-rich content targeting the top keyword phrases prospective
consumers may use to find you.

    1. GOAL:  go to

      http://www.google.com/places
and register your business by location

    2. RESOURCE:

      http://www.worldclassid.com/page/google-local-maps
      provides a
step-by-step guide for how to claim your Google Maps Listing.

  4. Get Referrals and Testimonials:
      Your
ranking in social networks or referral based social networking sites like
Yelp, Foursquare, Groupon or Living Social will be greatly improved by
having solid recommendations or testimonials.  The more “reviews” you have
    the higher you rank.

    1. GOAL:  get three clients to
write a recommendation and give you permission to post

  5. Claim Your Social Name:
    Whether it
is a trademarked name, your service name, a branded product as a keyword or
your personal name, just like the domain name land rush…you are going to
want to “claim your name” as a social account name.

    1. GOAL:  You want to “preserve”
your brand, so get your name reserved at as many social networks as you
      can.

    2. RESOURCE:

      www.WorldClassID.com
has a comprehensive list of more than 500
social networks, and it’s all FREE.

  6. It’s Not About Friends:

Here is where we depart from traditional marketing resources and we
encourage our business clients to modify their perspective about social
networks.  Contrary to popular opinion, we discourage personal involvement
in social networks for business purposes.  It is one thing to make a choice
to personally get involved in Facebook or other social communities.  It is
entirely another matter if a dentist who gets paid to do patient procedures
is spending 4 hours a day on Facebook thinking that somehow that is going to
    build his dental practice.

    1. GOAL:
        encourage active movement
of prospective customers OFF the social networks and draw them TO your
      website.

  7. DO NOT Put Links On Your Website:
    We
have a focus on outbound message insertion into social networks with the
sole goal of pulling traffic back to our client’s websites.  We do
everything possible to DISCOURAGE the posting of links to any of your social
networking websites.  All this does is drive traffic AWAY from your website,
the exact opposite of your goal to draw traffic TO your website enabling
them to buy or engage with you.

This Is Why There Are No Jobs in America

From Steve Sjuggerud's Daily Wealth - Editor's note: This week, the U.S. government released several key economic reports. To spare you the fine details, just know unemployment is getting worse. And one manufacturing report was so bad, some thought the key number was a misprint. These problems are so severe and so much in the public eye right now, that we're doing something unusual for our Saturday guest essay…

Our sister site, The Daily Crux, called this essay the "best rant of 2009." It's no surprise it's from our colleague Porter Stansberry. While it was written months ago, we believe this is far and away best insight you can possibly read on the unemployment situation in America.

This Is Why There Are No Jobs in America

By Porter Stansberry

Saturday, August 21, 2010

I'd like to make you a business offer.

Seriously. This is a real offer. In fact, you really can't turn me down, as you'll come to understand in a moment…

Here's the deal. You're going to start a business or expand the one you've got now. It doesn't really matter what you do or what you're going to do. I'll partner with you no matter what business you're in – as long as it's legal.

But I can't give you any capital – you have to come up with that on your own. I won't give you any labor – that's definitely up to you. What I will do, however, is demand you follow all sorts of rules about what products and services you can offer, how much (and how often) you pay your employees, and where and when you're allowed to operate your business. That's my role in the affair: to tell you what to do.

Now in return for my rules, I'm going to take roughly half of whatever you make in the business each year. Half seems fair, doesn't it? I think so. Of course, that's half of your profits.

You're also going to have to pay me about 12% of whatever you decide to pay your employees because you've got to cover my expenses for promulgating all of the rules about who you can employ, when, where, and how. Come on, you're my partner. It's only "fair."

Now… after you've put your hard-earned savings at risk to start this business, and after you've worked hard at it for a few decades (paying me my 50% or a bit more along the way each year), you might decide you'd like to cash out – to finally live the good life.

Whether or not this is "fair" – some people never can afford to retire – is a different argument. As your partner, I'm happy for you to sell whenever you'd like… because our agreement says, if you sell, you have to pay me an additional 20% of whatever the capitalized value of the business is at that time.

I know… I know… you put up all the original capital. You took all the risks. You put in all of the labor. That's all true. But I've done my part, too. I've collected 50% of the profits each year. And I've always come up with more rules for you to follow each year. Therefore, I deserve another, final 20% slice of the business.

Oh… and one more thing…

Even after you've sold the business and paid all of my fees… I'd recommend buying lots of life insurance. You see, even after you've been retired for years, when you die, you'll have to pay me 50% of whatever your estate is worth.

After all, I've got lots of partners and not all of them are as successful as you and your family. We don't think it's "fair" for your kids to have such a big advantage. But if you buy enough life insurance, you can finance this expense for your children.

All in all, if you're a very successful entrepreneur… if you're one of the rare, lucky, and hard-working people who can create a new company, employ lots of people, and satisfy the public… you'll end up paying me more than 75% of your income over your life. Thanks so much.

I'm sure you'll think my offer is reasonable and happily partner with me… but it doesn't really matter how you feel about it because if you ever try to stiff me – or cheat me on any of my fees or rules – I'll break down your door in the middle of the night, threaten you and your family with heavy, automatic weapons, and throw you in jail.

That's how civil society is supposed to work, right? This is Amerika, isn't it?

That's the offer Amerika gives its entrepreneurs. And the idiots in Washington wonder why there are no new jobs…

Regards,

Porter Stansberry

Social Media Gaining Popularity with Corporate Travel Professionals

Press Release Source: American Express Business Travel On Wednesday July 21, 2010, 9:34 am EDT

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--New research by American Express Business Travel found that corporate travel professionals are increasingly using social media to communicate with travelers and to stay on top of latest travel industry information. Respondents also reported high expectations regarding their companies’ future social media usage plan, reporting that within the next year forums, webcasts, and online video are the most likely to be implemented by businesses.

The latest research report “Social Media in Business Travel Management” by American Express Business Travel’s eXpert insights research practice outlines the evolution of social media tools and sites from consumer use to business-to-business use, and illustrates how social media supports managed business travel today. The research also includes survey results conducted in the beginning of 2010 to reveal how individuals as well as their companies are currently embracing social media technology and how they might use these tools to support managed travel in the future.

“As businesses around the globe alter the way they communicate and receive information from clients and prospects, social media has also proven to be a useful and effective tool to share pertinent information with employees and drive change in organizations,” said Christa Degnan Manning, director, eXpert insights, American Express Business Travel.

“Applying this research to the social networking platform we’ve launched, BusinessTravelConneXion, it is encouraging to see corporate travel departments becoming more comfortable with this form of collaboration,” said Alicia Tillman, vice president, corporate affairs and marketing services, American Express Business Travel. “We will continue to provide a free forum to share ideas, connect community members, and offer webcasts, videos and blogs to meet the demand for industry information and connection entrepreneurial travel category managers are looking for today.”

Social Media Finds a Role in Corporate Travel

Social media has evolved to play a role in business travel programs. While half (50%) of respondents said that they use social media to some extent to support travel management today, mid-size companies ($3M to $10M USD in air volume) were the largest adopters (59%) of social media to support business travel management to date.

Many respondents indicated that the primary benefit of social media in supporting managed travel is educating themselves or their organization about the market. In fact, 44 percent indicated that staying on top of the latest travel information was the most important social media benefit. This response was followed closely by the interest in using social networking to learn and communicate best practices and reduce business travel costs (43%). Other findings include:

42% use social networking to look for preferred vendors and services from travelers
34% seek to uncover travel patterns that could lend to better vendor rates and services
27% look to gain visibility into traditionally siloed business functions/departments
26% use social media tools to encourage travelers to network with each other
18% network with other travel manager/procurement officer peers

Customization and Oversight Desired For Expanded Social Media Use

Of those survey respondents who do use social media to support travel management, when asked specifically what features or functionality would they add if they could design their own social media tools for professional use, the majority (61%) indicated they wanted flexibility to accommodate business travel management processes. Other top ranking features/functionality include:

Real time updates such as mobile application, the ability to push out notifications and alerts (39%)
Supervision of the entire social media sharing process and specific monitoring of those who are using social media tools (35%)
Reporting ability – notification to website abuse, comments and security issues (29%)

Corporations Apprehensive About Implementing Social Media Tools

Even though the global economic crisis curbed spending, financing was not the main social networking adoption barrier. In fact, only six percent of respondents cited lack of funding as the most significant barrier or challenge to adopt social media tools.

The most significant barrier to adoption of social media as an organization has been the lack of direct benefits realization. Twenty percent found the business case for social media tools and usage within travel management programs unclear. Lack of strategy or understanding and lack of support from upper management each followed at 15 percent respectively.

Notably, only five percent of respondents indicated that they have had no barriers or challenges to adopt social media tools as an organization.

“While companies have a way to go to embrace widespread social media acceptance, they are very involved in evaluating how to use these new technologies rather than simply dismissing it particularly as younger generations enter the workforce and move up the corporate ladder,” continued Manning.

American Express Business Travel’s own www.businesstravelconneXion.com (btX) is an online community serving as the destination for travel professionals to become more informed about travel and expense programs by learning from peers and experts. Community members including travel buyers, suppliers, technology providers, industry experts and influencers, use btX to discuss perspectives, share best practices, build relationships and stay up to date on current research and industry news. The site has grown into a community with an approximate 8,500 user base where thousands of members have participated in online events such as webinars on how to recession proof travel programs, how to adapt to the “New Normal” of business travel, building a strategic meetings management program along with volcanic ash emergency tutorials. Regularly established bloggers from the industry have also prompted hundreds viewing the sites’ blog each month.

New Automated Social Media Marketing Solution for Social Media Account Creation, Social Networking Website Personalization, and Social Media Advertising Help Marketers Make Sense of Social Media Optimization.

SAN DIEGO, CA, April 2010 (online) – WorldClass Brand Management, the premier Social Media Marketing Agency and recognized leader in automated social media marketing software solutions, today announced the availability of new "Automated Social Media Optimization Solution Packs" -- innovative social media marketing for automated creation of social networking websites (including personalization), and social media marketing capabilities for users of its automated social media marketing solutions.

In today’s socially networked world, everybody is generally aware of social networking websites like Twitter, Myspace, Facebook and LinkedIn. Millions of individuals have utilized these sites to find more friends, but savvy marketers are now using social networking profiles to drive more visitors to their core website. This is called social media marketing.
You may believe that social networking sites are completely pointless. But here is where we take a contrarian view in that social networking sites are actually broadcast distribution systems which help us get our message to a new audience in a totally unique way.

You have to be clear about your objectives, and this may sound crass, but you have to view this as a one-way messaging system. It is impossible to think of managing thousands of friends on hundreds of different social networking sites, and that’s just not the objective. You want maximum exposure to drive new leads to your core website and social networking websites can do just that.

Remember, most “industry experts” will tell you that social networking is give and take and that you need to be part of other peoples’ network. Honestly, that’s just a way for them to convince you to waste your time and money trying to convince you they might actually know something about social network marketing. Our approach is totally different.
It is crucial to post your web site URL or video links on your profile, and on your status. If the URL is too long, you can create a shorter link by using free web services like www.tiny.cc.

Are you stressed by wasting countless hours on social networks, online marketing, and Search Engine Optimization? Discover automated social media marketing. Go to the website www.WorldClassID.com.

What is Social Media Marketing and How Can I Drive New Leads Using Social Media?

The internet is where people now go to get information on products, services, businesses, locations, directions, etc. The internet is also where people are talking to each other about all of these things.

Social media is the communication between both individuals and groups – in all kinds of ways – all over the world wide web. The social sites that we use to engage in conversations are our marketing tools. Tools will come and go, but this advertising and marketing method is here to stay. Remember that the internet is still very young, and every day new people are getting access.

Social media is an opportunity for people to talk directly with major brands in a way that was never available before. And small businesses can use social media exactly the way much larger businesses are doing – right now there is nothing to hold any business back from participating.

The cost of social media is measured more in terms of time than it is in dollars. In order to effectively join this new way to market a business, and have success with it, there has to be a consistent and sincere effort to engage on the popular social networking sites as well as industry specific locations.

Advertising and marketing is no longer about pushing out a message, in the form of an advertisement, to a general crowd or even a targeted market. People do not want to be ‘sold to’ anymore. Prospective buyers want information, referrals, testimonies, and conversation about a brand, service, or products.

Social media is about attracting a crowd, pulling them in to your message, by engaging them in conversation, posting valuable (helpful) content online, entertaining, educating, enlightening their market.

And it’s not only enough to provide this great content. The other part of Social Media is the marketing of the message: Social Media Marketing. Helping the content to be seen to an even wider audience is achieved by consistent efforts to market the messages in strategic (non-selling) ways.

Promoting your business online using online social channels can include answering questions, listening to concerns, establishing relationships, asking for feedback, and building brand awareness. The most effective way to utilize social media marketing is to constantly be in touch with the conversation that is already happening about your brand, and responding to it in a sincere way.

There are multiple returns for social media marketing efforts. In addition to achieving a wider reach for your content that results in more visits to your website, there are search engine optimization benefits. Social media sites are now receiving top search engine listings so that even more people find your business when going to Google and other search engines to find your product or service.

So there is a plan for Social Media and there is a plan for Social Media Marketing. Both plans should be worked on a daily basis. There are optimal ways to do each, and we plan to cover that here on this blog.

Takeaway: Social Media is sharing information online. A business can participate by posting content in all kinds of creative ways to engage new people to the product or service that is represented – not to sell, but to use the social space on the internet to facilitate communication that will lead to sales.

Intuit's TurboTax goes Social Media Marketing

Author Beth Viveiros wrote an interest piece about how Intuit's TurboTax product has gone social.  In that article she states;

"Intuit's TurboTax product has had over 20 million customers, and over 50% of those folks are using Facebook and have, on average, 150 friends. They obviously like to share, and most certainly have an opinion about their tax preparation experience.

What to do next was obvious, says Seth Greenberg, director of national media buying and digital marketing. “They can become our biggest salesforce.”

To turn them into that, this year the Mountain View, CA-based company began using Gigya's social sharing platform to share customer reviews on sites like Facebook.

TurboTax is a key property for Intuit — it's a billion dollar business in the 15-week period following Jan. 1 every year, says Greenberg. Customers are very passionate, but they need to be re-won annually.

This winter, Intuit launched the “Friend Like You” area of the TurboTax site, where users can narrow down the various selects of dozens of profile types to find others in their particular tax situation — new homeowner, new parent, etc. — or find people they know, via Facebook Connect. As folks leave reviews on the site after finishing their own taxes, they're encouraged to share that through Facebook or Twitter, which is then promoted through the newsfeeds.

“We're learning that people are four times more likely to click on a shared review than a banner ad,” he says, noting reviews are filtered by recency, rather than as good or bad. “You can sort by lowest rated, which I like because it shows we're transparent.”

Over 50,000 people shared reviews. The review sharing has worked more as a prospecting tool for TurboTax, as over 75% of people who viewed the reviews and clicked through were new customers.

“It's becoming more and more important for sites to optimize for social the same way they're optimizing for search,” notes Ben Pashman, senior vice president, business development at Gigya.

The next step will be looking at other ways to share — say, perhaps taking a group of reviews from people who recently sold a house and promoting that bucket of reviews via a real estate site, says Greenberg. “It would be great to let the customers sell our product and get the heck out of the way.”

Importance of Keyword Selection in Social Media Marketing

Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization, as well as traditional Search Engine Marketing, are directly impacted by Keyword Selection.

What most clients do not understand about online marketing, website construction, SEO or SMO is Keywords, more specifically Keyword Selection. If we have a chance to, we will be glad to do an analysis of a prospective clients website and see whether the keywords for which they rank actually have any value. If the client doesn’t know anything about Keywords, then educating them is likely to identify the pain point they didn’t know existed. Specifically, if they see a demonstration that they may be missing out on 80% of highly valuable target traffic (potential new business) for related keywords in their target audience…the awareness of losing that business should get their attention.

Keyword Selection has become a combination of art and science, so in the following outline I will provide the fundamentals to give you a high level understanding of how sophisticated Keyword Selection has become. Most people do not make appropriate keyword selections, so understanding this will help you guide discussions in the future.

The Keyword Selection issue with respect to impact on search engine ranking is four-fold.

• First is whether the keyword is considered a Root Keyword (also called a Primary Keyword) or whether it is a Keyword Stem (also called a Secondary Keyword).

• Second is whether the keyword is “Global” or “Localized” and this means whether the keyword is geographically concentrated on the vicinity around the clients location, i.e. dental implants Houston.

• Third is the Keyword Value. We want our clients to obtain search engine rank for 3 types of keywords, High-Value, Medium-Value, and Low-Value. What you don’t want is to rank for keywords which have No-Value.

• Fourth is Keyword Length. Root keywords are single words, like Dentist (very broad). Secondary Keywords include both Keyword Stems and Keyword Phrases (two or more words as part of the keyword). There are “short-tail keyword phrases” (two to four words in the keyword phrase, still fairly broad) and there are “long-tail keyword phrases” (very lengthy and detailed phrases which are highly specific, very narrow). Long-tail keywords are typically competitive niche markets rather than the hugely competitive broad keywords

So, here is the simple example for what all the above looks like:

Root (Global) Keywords = dentist, dentistry, dental,
Keyword Stems (Secondary, short-tail) = dentist office, dentistry practice, dental office
Localized Root (Global) Keywords = dentist houston, dentistry houston, dental houston
Localized Keyword Stems (Secondary, short-tail) = dentist office houston, dentistry practice houston, dental office houston
Long-tail keyword phrase = small business dentist office providing top dentistry practice in houston

Keywords in the above categories are further value gauged by some general “rule-of-thumb” benchmarks:

1. Number of Pages Indexed
2. Number of Monthly Searches
3. Average Cost per Click

If you go to Google and search for “dentist” you will see that Google has indexed approximately 36,300,000 pages of content.

In comparison, if you Google “dentist office houston” you will see that Google has indexed approximately 15,100,000 pages of content, less than half of “dentist” total pages indexed. Further down is the long-tail keyword phrase “small business dentist office providing top dentistry practice in houston” which has approximately 6,620,000 pages indexed.

The number of monthly searches done on any keyword of interest can be discovered at http://www.google.com/sktool. If you go to that page and type in “dentist” you will see that 11,100,000 searches were done on that phrase last month. The number of searches done last month for “dentist office” was 74,000 searches, and the “dentist office houston” phrase had ZERO searches last month.

Obviously a website ranking in the first page of Google for “dentist” is going to have much larger traffic volume, but a dentist ranking for that root keyword globally may have patient inquiries from Boston even though his practice is in Houston. A dentist may be able to claim “First Place Ranking” for “dentist office houston” but if no one is searching by that keyword phrase it has no value.

Determining the most likely keyword phrases where you can economically afford to compete to drive the highest traffic is the real goal of Keyword Selection.

Hope that helps lay a foundation, and please understand that there is TONS more detail below all this, so the importance of having a Strategic Keyword Selection process cannot be over emphasized.

Your Strategic Marketing Plan for Business MUST include Social Media Marketing

Social Media Marketing Agency Helps Define Your Strategic Marketing Plan for Business a MUST read!

You can't open a newspaper, listen to the radio or turn on the television without noticing that having a Social Media Marketing Plan is CRUCIAL to the survival of your business!  In today’s world, having a strategic Social Media Marketing Plan is ESSENTIAL to the prosperity of your business’ success.

Surely you’ve heard of Web 2.0, and how successful it can be for almost any business, but have you started
using Social Media yet? For simplicity, we’ll stick to Facebook and Twitter, as they’re the 2 most popular at the moment.

The social media giants like Twitter and Facebook are no secrets to you, right? It can be very frustrating, overwhelming, and just plain confusing to know just HOW to implement Web 2.0 Marketing, even though you KNOW it’s the future of marketing online!

And, chances are, your competition is already on top of this, or at least trying to. If you’d like your business to have a prosperous future, the time to act is you YESTERDAY on these social media Goliaths like YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and supplementary Web 2.0 sites.

Here’s some factual data to further drill the importance of this message:

*With over 260 million active users and counting, Facebook has been deemed as the number one social network, according to Facebook.com and Neilson.com.

*Some predictions by known analysts predict that possibly sooner than 2011, there will be 500 million members on Facebook!

*Between June 2008-June2009, Twitter has increased it’s user base by an astounding 1,928%, making it the fastest growing social network on the planet, says Nielson.com

*Twitter’s user base has increased by a bewildering 1,928%, which made it the FASTEST growing social network between June 2008 and June 2009, claimed Neilson.com

*For a week straight, Facebook was visited more often than Google itself, around about April 2010!

*Statistics show that the age group of 35 and above are currently the most rapidly growing demographic to join these social media groups

*Another interesting fact from Alexa.com is that WORLDWIDE, Facebook is the THIRD most visited site!

*Twitter attained 50 million unique visitors in July 2009 [source:TechCrunch.com]

*Predictions indicate that by the end of 2010, Twitter will grow to 100 million users says Fool.com & Twitter.com

*Facebook says that over 65 million members access their accounts via their cell phones

*When users log into Facebook and Twitter via their cell-phones, they’re known to be twice as active as those who don’t

*Facebook says that over 70% of members are actually based outside of the United States Of America

If these comprehensive statistics haven’t already blown your hair back about the true power of Social Media Marketing, then you’re probably already harnessing it’s force! If you were a business owner, what would this kind of data mean to you? The short of the long is that there’s tons of prospective clients who’re easily accessed by conducting strategic Facebook Marketing and Twitter marketing alone, and they’re open to the marketing of your services or products! Are you going to sit around and allow your competition to capitalize on this phenomena before you do? For the clever entrepreneur, this wouldn’t be very plausible.

Social Media Marketing can be seen as access to a gate opener, or a portal if you will, with powerful communities which can have insurmountable implications for entrepreneurs, businesses, whether small or large. It’s no secret that the pace of rapid change in today’s marketplace is difficult to keep up with, but
still, it’s vital to keep your business informed of the forthcoming trends. Based on the facts described above, you can see that there’s no doubt that Social Media Marketing will become increasingly important to the future of your business’ success. We’ve now surpassed the Information Age, and now have entered the Recommendation age. How many times have you heard people say “It’s not WHAT you know, it’s WHO ou know." That statement doesn’t hold so much validity anymore, as times have changed. Let’s put it this way “It’s not WHAT you know, it’s NOT WHO you know…it’s WHO KNOWS YOU!” And with the power of an effective Social Media Marketing Plan, you CAN connect with near anyone in your field of
business, and harness that relationship. The quality of your finances is a direct reflection of the quality of your relationships.

Is Creating Social Media Marketing Plans now higher on your priority list?

Hopefully you’ve begun to realize the importance of implementing a Social Media Marketing Plan.

If you’d like to ascertain more about how to efficiently begin to a social media marketing plan, but don’t know where to begin, you may want to use a social media marketing consultant, such as WorldClassID, who can provide you with a free consultation and discuss a plan which is customized specifically for your business.

Boost Your Search Engine Rankings with Social Media Optimization

How to Boost Your Search Engine Rankings

Everyone is all abuzz about how to effectively use social networking websites to boost your search engine rankings.  There is no question that social media optimization is the new holy grail for spiking your base website search engine ranking, but many folks miss the point and never really get the impact.

The majority of social networking folks are missing out on a key strategy that will yield them much higher rankings on Web search engines. Most businesses are competing with each other over short-tailed keywords, which are just a few words strung together that Internet users type in for searching purposes.
This is a misguided step on the part of most businesses, since as much as 80 percent of all search engine activity actually uses long-tailed keywords — phrases typically consisting of five to seven words. For dental searches, many prospective dental patients have very specific details in mind and therefore will not search under a broad term such as "San Diego dentist," for example.
Rather, they are more likely to enter a phrase like "San Diego dental implant specialist with no pain." Because businesses are most often focused on short tailed keywords, there are thousands of Web sites competing for those same terms; meanwhile, the competition of long-tailed keywords is virtually nonexistent.
To be effective and successful in using long-tailed keywords, a business owner must write up and index hundreds, possibly even thousands, of them in order to generate traffic and results. The keyword phrases can be inserted in blogs, social media posts, YouTube videos, classified ads on the Web, and article marketing and portal sites.

We have a unique and compelling method of both creating that keyword rich content, as well as distributing that content to over 350 social networking websites.  Please visit http://www.worldclassid.com/ to learn more.

Is Social Networking Too Big To Fail? Can You Really Afford to Quit Facebook?

Is Social Networking Too Big To Fail? Can

You Really Afford to Quit Facebook?

These two overly eager social neophytes named @mmilan and @josephdee got a bug in their bonnet and
decided that May 31, 2010 was going to be a day designated as QuitFacebookDay.com. The site states: "If you agree that Facebook doesn't respect you, your personal data, or the future of the web, you may want to join us." A counter indicated that some 33,607 folks are committed Facebook quitters.

Long before Facebook catapulted into its now dominant position in the social networking world, MySpace and other social networking sites had been pioneering this fertile new marketing ground.

Facebook
was founded in 2004. By August 2008 it claimed 100 million users. According to the company, it now has more than 400 million active users (nearing 500 million), 50% of whom log on in any given day. The average user creates 70 pieces of content each month and more than 25 billion pieces of content (web links, news stories, blog posts, notes, photo albums, etc.) are shared each month.

It was Facebook's introduction of new open network features with automatic access by third-party apps (which you have to manually go in and shut off) which set off a firestorm of criticism over privacy issues. Many outraged folks threatened to delete their accounts and some actually did, including some high-profile
web industry people. Some people have proposed the creation of an interoperable social networking protocol as an ideal alternative to Facebook www.readwriteweb.com/archives/more_web_industry_leaders_quit_facebook_call_for_o.php).

What really amounted to a media stunt to get publicity for their own venture was a misguided notion that you might want to have something private out in a very public arena.  The whole point of social networking from an economic perspective is to generate new leads.

You may disagree with that notion, but why else would businesses spend millions to reach target audiences on social networks?  Just like search engines, there are the easy ways to generate leads (Pay Per Click and any of the paid advertising alternatives) and then there are the hard ways through "Natural" or "Organic"
search engine ranking.  We have been saying for a while that there is a parallel evolution going on in the Social Networking world that tracks quite consistently with the search engine models.  Why do you think Google is taking such an aggressive stance towards Facebook?

It is because they represent a threat to the core business model and just as with Google, you will achieve better results in Facebook with "Natural" or "Organic" listings than through paid search results.

To be blunt, you are either going to participate in the social networking arena for pleasure or business.  You might think your social cause is neither, but it's totally business.  It's all about reaching your target audience and influencing them (sell them) that your position should be supported.

Our approach to social networking is a traditional capitalist perspective, so our belief is that once you know what your objectives are you can design your strategic plan to take advantage of the medium.

As far as off-site factors like social networking websites impacting your search engine ranking and the use of social media to positively impact ranking, we are actually contrarian to how most experts will tell you to
handle social networks. We really don't care how many followers you have on Twitter or how many friends on Facebook.

Take Dell as an example. Dell has 1.5 million followers on Twitter. Do you think they're really engaging those followers in any kind of meaningful social dialogue? They are radically focused on pushing their message, one-way...out into the system. If someone likes the special deal being offered in a particular tweet, the
user is linked to their ecommerce site to take advantage of that special offer.

We are focused on this media as a one-way distribution channel and it's purely a way to distribute your message the way you want to the most number of distribution points. The objective is to drive people to your website and to use your social media marketing to improve your base website ranking (locally or globally).
What that means is that you're never actually going to be establishing a dialogue with anyone in Germany on Bebo (or Orkut in Brazil), but your Bebo and Orkut accounts will point both people and search engines back to your core website. Whether a potential client in Germany sees you on Bebo shouldn't actually matter (that would be a bonus), but what does matter is that search engine spiders find your backlink on Bebo
and Orkut and give your base website an added ranking score when your "localized" website is ranked.

Someone in Germany wanting to "Start a business in Singapore" should see your website in the Top 10 returns on whatever search engine they use if that happens to be your target keyword.

In late May, CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that Facebook would roll out a new, much simpler way
for users to control their privacy settings. With one control, users would be able to determine who they want to share all of the content on their profile with-though more granular controls would let users specify who
could see individual updates. Users will also be able to easily turn off access to their profile info by third-party apps and websites. Here's an explanation of the changes www.facebook.com/privacy/explanation.php), and if you want to see what its current policy is (since it changes frequently), go to www.facebook.com/policy.php

All of this, of course, implies that you actually care about privacy as if everything you've ever posted isn't already permanently etched into cyberspace.  As I tell my kids, this is not like the saying, "what happens in
Vegas, stays in Vegas", but more aptly is reflected by, "what happens on the Internet, stays on the Internet."

The reality is, if there is something you don't want the world to read about you, don't post it anywhere on the Internet because it will remain there FOREVER!  If you doubt the reality to this, just check out the Internet
Archive Wayback Machine at http://www.archive.org/ and you will see the modern day version of the Great
Library of Alexandria which now contains in excess of 150 BILLION archived web pages.

And that's just what is publicly published and doesn't include the kind of technology seen in the Wil Smith movie "Enemy of the State" which gave a glimpse into the technology called "Carnivore."  If you think Facebook has an issue with their privacy policy, you clearly haven't looked into what our very own government is up to these days under the auspices of the Patriot Act.  Funny that the "change" Obama
promised didn't include repealing this unconstitutional violation of our right to privacy, but in fact made it premanent.  The vote to extend HR 3199 was a YES Vote by Obama to adopt a conference report
that extends the authority of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to conduct "roving wiretaps" and access certain business records through December 31, 2009, and makes the remaining 14 provisions of the Patriot Act permanent.

Looking Ahead
So here is my summarizing question, "Is it possible that social networks like Facebook are too big to fail?"  There is some speculation that successful ventures like Facebook will become mostly tools for business
(public and private).  Useful for social media marketing services, while individuals concerned about privacy retreat to some other less public network? Will sites like Facebook really be just about social media broadcasting, personal endorsements, and influence?

To show the broad appeal of social networking sites, even the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) recently jumped into the social media craze. On May 20, 2010, the PTO unveiled its official Facebook page, www.facebook.com/USPTO.gov. The PTO intends to engage the public and the intellectual property community directly and provide real-time updates including press releases, information on upcoming events, and posts from the PTO's Director's Forum blog. The PTO's Facebook page allows Facebook users to provide comments, discuss, and offer feedback to the PTO directly on a wide range of issues and initiatives. The new Facebook page, however, does not replace the PTO's website, www.USPTO.gov, as the official source of information but, rather, provides a new channel for the public to connect with the agency.
